The Anglesey race track has year round events plus a golf course and horse riding within the village.

For further amenities the market towns of Llangefni and Holyhead (the starting point for day trips to Dublin) and the City of Bangor are all within easy travelling distance. Further afield on the island there is Pili Palas Butterfly Farm, Anglesey Sea Zoo, Beaumaris Castle or the RSPB centre at South Stack Lighthouse. Snowdonia National Park with its stunning mountain scenery and crystal clear lakes is within easy reach by car; here you can climb Wales’ highest mountain, Snowdon.
